Super Lunch at Jamie's Italian

I love Italian food, that's no secret here on hiyaitsashley. Living in Glasgow means that there are a lot of amazing Italian restaurants to eat at, and I have tried a lot of them. One that I had been dying to try out for a long time was Jamie's Italian on George Square, and not long ago I was invited down to try out the new Super Lunch menu at Jamie's Italian.

Four Favourite Fragrances

I love anything that smells good and I love things that make me smell nice. I like having perfumes and body sprays that smell good, and for me perfume is a luxury product. I often love the scent of high end perfumes, but it is a product I don't often buy, mainly because perfumes are very expensive, and some of them just don't last the way I want them to for the price point. I have four fragrances that I love, 3 high end perfumes and 1 body spray and that are three scents that I love and think are worth the money.

Doing Something I've Always Wanted To Do

Okay, so I'm quite geeky, I like nerdy things, that's no secret. It has long been a dream of mine to take part in an Escape Room and to play Laser Tag, (just call me Barney Stinson). But really, I absolutely love puzzles, and I have always been intrigued by the idea of escape rooms, I like a challenge. As for laser tag, well that's just fun, who wouldn't want to shoot people with lasers and jump scare them whilst running around a dark room? Well, thanks to the amazing people at ClueHQ and LaserQuest in Glasgow, last week I got to live out this dream. And it was epic. Spoiler: We escaped!

The Hairdryer That Stole My Heart

We've all been there, the internal dilemma that comes after washing our hair, do I blow dry it? For most of us, we have the same issue; most hair dryers suck, (oh, the irony). Don't get me wrong, they get job done, but at what cost? Most hairdryers are the same; they are really big which makes them harder to use and store, they are so heavy (seriously, how have I not got arms like Hulk Hogan?), they burn your scalp into oblivion, and they are so loud, seriously, why are the so loud? Or they do that ever annoying thing where they suck your hair into the back, and rip your hair from your head. Well, no more! Introducing the Dyson Supersonic, a hairdryer that you will make you actually want to dry your hair.

Recently I've had a lot of things that I've really been enjoying, from beauty products, to TV and music, so I thought I'd share them on here with you guys, and maybe you'll find a new product to try out or a show to watch.

Colour Your Summer with St Enoch Centre

It's summer, which means it's officially time for shops to be bringing their summer collections. This is one of my favourite times of the year, I love it when summer collections are released, and we get to see all of the beautiful new make up launches, and what new fashion trends we'll be seeing. Recently St Enoch's Centre in Glasgow put on a little event to showcase of some of their stores' new upcoming releases, and I got the chance to pop along and have a peek.

What's In My Bag: Summer Edition

So summer is here, and boy is it warm. If you live in the UK then you know that recently we have been experiencing a bit of a heatwave. Okay, maybe bit is an understatement, its been hot as hell. With the way the weather has been going I've welcomed a few new but simple additions to my handbag that have been helping me cope with the heat, so I thought I would share them with you, in case any of you are like me, and feel like you've been melting recently.
