Dr PawPaw Orignal Balm*

In my make up collection, the staple item that I have acquired most of are lip products, mainly lip balm and lipsticks. Recently, I have found a lip balm that trumps all others I have tried so far, the Dr PawPaw Balm in Original*.

As most of you know, when I wear make up I will always wear lipstick (you can find my MAC lipstick collection here). I feel like the right lipstick can complete any make up look, and with that in mind, it only makes sense that I be using a good lip balm to protect my underneath lipstick.

This is where the Dr PawPaw balm comes in. After receiving this little tube of heaven in the mail, I was excited to try it out, and see if this lip balm would manage to do anything significant for my lips - a job which many, many lip balms before it had failed.

After around 4 uses I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product, for being a brand I had not heard about before. At a retail price of only £6.95 for 25ml size, I was thoroughly impresses by the size and price. This size is perfect for tossing in your pocket or make up bag, and taking on the go, and I was very pleased about the generous amount you get in this tube. The tube has a a standard tube applicator in the doe foot shape.

This balm is very softening on the lips, and it keeps them feeling moisturised and plump for a long time. This is the first lip balm I have found that has not only been fantastic value for money, but has actually provide a product that is actually very beneficial for your lips, and does soothe them and keep them feeling soft and plump.

The original balm is clear so it has no colour pay off, which is perfect for prepping and moisturising the lips prior to applying lipstick - a bonus is that it is non sticky and it sinks into the skin very quickly, so you won't be waiting around for years to apply your lipstick on top of it.

As a lover of matte lipsticks, my lips can be dry quite often and I like to keep them in a good condition, and I love this balm for that. It has a lovely thin consistency and it glides easily onto the lip and sinks into the skin.

This balm gets a 10/10 from me, and I highly recommend to to anyone who is always on the hunt for a good lip balm and good lip care. You can purchase it online at their website here.
