A High End Bronzer And Highlighter That Is Worth Your Money

Those of you who follow me on Twitter or Instagram will have seen me recently posting about two new little beauties I picked up from Debenhams recently, Too Faced's Chocolate Soleil bronzer, and The Balms Mary Lou Manizer. Since buying them I have fallen in love with them, and just had to share them in a post with you.

I bought these two products from my local Debenhams last week, and I'm so beyond happy with them already. Literally all the heart eye emojis. Can we just take a second to appreciate the sheer beauty of the packaging before we even open the product. The Chocolate Soliel bronzer comes in a sleek gold case, with the most beautiful writing and design on it. I love that the product feels very well made and good quality, and you know it's not going to get damaged in your make up bag. I also love the huge mirror inside the compact, perfect for on the go. The Mary Lou Manizer highlighter is also beautifully packaged, I love the vintage printing and theme of the product. This product also feels very well made and amazing quality. I love that with the bronzer, and with highlighter you are getting a really good amount of product for the price, it's not a small product you're getting, you get a really good sized product which is amazing as bronzer and highlighter is a product I, and most people, wear regularly so it's not going to run out soon after buying it.

I have been on the hunt for a while now for a new bronzer. I have Hoola by Benefit and don't get me wrong, it's a great bronzer but I feel like sometimes on me, it's a tad too dark. I am the palest of pale, so if you are anything like me you'll probably know how hard it is to get a good bronzer shade that doesn't look dark and muddy on you. Enter Chocolate Soleil from Too Faced. This bronzer is absolutely perfect, I'm beyond impressed with it. The bronzer is a lovely warm, matte brown and it looks stunning on pale skin. I was so impressed with how good this colour looked on my skin. It looks quite dark in the packaging, but on the skin it is super easy to blend and it's buildable. I love the feel of the bronzer powder, it's not too powdery but it's not creamy, it's just lovely and soft and light. I love this shade for getting a hint of bronze to my cheeks. I use it for contouring and for dusting across my face to get a nice lightly bronzed look. Something that needs to be mentioned about this product, the smell. It literally smells like chocolate, and I love it. Some of you may already know that Too Faced to have a range of chocolate scented products, and this is one of them, and it is so lovely, I just, I love it. It's my new favourite bronzer.

Next is the Mary Lou Manizer highlighter from The Balm. I have been really getting into highlighting recently, and this product is one that I hear a lot of people loving, and I can see why, it's beautiful. The first thing that I was super impressed by with this product was the pigmentation. One tiny swipe on my fingers and the colour is like bam, right there. You don't need to swipe for three million years to get some pigmentation, it's  one swipe and you get full pigment. I loved that it is a more bright toned highlighter, like a white/silver shade with some shimmer. I love a brighter highlight, I like golden toned ones but I prefer Mary Lou hands down. I love a strong highlight, and Mary Lou Manizer definitely gives me that, I love blending this product across the tops of my cheeks, and I use it to highlight the inner corners of my eyes, the centre of my nose and my cupid's bow. I literally use it for highlighting everything, it's my new holy grail. I love that the product is very buildable, and it has good staying power, it didn't fade or disappear hours after applying it, which is a big bonus. I am in love with this product.
