Where hiyaitsashley Is And Where I Want It To Be

I have a huge passion for my blog and it holds a very special place in my heart. Since starting hiyaitsashley in 2014, my blog has grown, my following and readership has grown, and as a blogger I have grown. I am very proud of my blog, and of myself as a blogger and in this post I wanted to take a look at where my blog is currently, and where I want it to be as time goes on.

As a blogger I have definitely grown alongside my blog. As my content and readership has grown, so has my confidence and my style as a blogger. I have fallen in love with blogging, and see it as my main hobby and passion. As of 2016, I have started taking my blog very seriously and in the past 6 months I have produced some of my best content and hit some awesome blog milestones, so as we are halfway through 2016, I wanted look at where my blog is currently and where I want to take my blog, my blogging goals in a way.

Where hiyaitsashley Is
As of June 2016, hiyatsashley has been up and running for a year and nine months, but it feels like a lot less, the time has flew in for me as a blogger. In less than 2 years I have had so many great opportunities, been to so many lovely events and spoken to such lovely people that I feel very lucky as a blogger to be seen as deserving of these opportunities. I never thought that I would be working with some amazing brands, that I would get the chance to go to events and such because of my little blog, my little piece of the internet where I chill out, it's been amazing. My blog is currently sitting at over 31 thousand views, which I can't quite believe, I mean my little blog has been looked at over 32 thousand times in under 2 years, how amazing is that? I am so grateful to everyone who has looked at my blog and help me reach this high.

I have had some amazing opportunities come out off my little blog, and I am always so thrilled about each one. I love beauty and food, they are two of my biggest interests, and through hiyaitsashley I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing brands and restaurants which is amazing. I have been able to work with amazing brands such as KIKO (review here), and even been invited along to some incredible restaurants to review them, such as 2 of my favourites Frankie and Benny's (review here) and Wagamama (review here), which is incredible for me, being able to combine the things I love and being treated with a lot of respect and recognised for my hard work. It makes me so proud to know that all the hard work I put into my blog pays off, and it inspires me to keep working hard at it, as I love it so much.

Blogging has made me a lot more confident, which is something I will always be proud of and grateful for. I have become more confident in myself and my content, and I have been able to show my personality through my blog, which has led me to meet and talk to some other amazing bloggers. I've worked hard to create content I love on my blog, and I've worked hard to promote myself and my blog. I am proud of my blog, and I love my blog no matter how many view and followers I get, however this year I have hit a couple of milestones that I am proud of with my blog, and I feel like this year is when my content has been at its best, and when I have really stared to find my own voice and style as I blogger.

I have really loved the content I have been creating. This year has been amazing for hiyaitsashley s far, and I have acheived some amazing things, suh as getting amazing oppurtunites to develop the foodie portion of my blog, attending an event with one of my favourite brands, The Body Sho, hitting 30,000 page views, getting to 2000 Twitter follower, reaching my goal of 400 Bloglovin' followers in the first half of the year and meeting and speaking to some amazing fellow bloggers. I have loved being a blogger, and I definitely am glad I started my blog, I think it one of the best things I have ever done. I love it, and I am excited to see what comes next for hiyaitsashley.

Content I Most Proud Of So Far In 2016...
There are a lot of things I want for my blog in the future, and a lot of goals I have for it. Blogging is one of my favourite pastimes, and I definitely can't see myself stopping blogging for a very long time. I work very hard on my blog, I work hard on the content, on the look of my blog and on my blog's promotion. I would love to think that one day this will pay off for me, and I will be able to either blog full time or make some kind of living or money off my blog, as it would go right back into my blog and making it better. I would love to keep improving on my content and growing my readership. I love making other people happy, and making them laugh or smile and I love to help people, so I would like to think that my blog can grow and reach more people so that I can make that happen.

Something that I have always wanted for my blog, is to have a YouTube channel to go along with it. I have been watching YouTubers for years, and even before I started my blog I has always had a kind of dream of being a YouTuber. I love watching YouTube videos and I like to see the blogger/vlogger behind the blog, and I find videos entertaining, and they make me smile regardless of it's a haul from Zoella, a make up tutorial (99% of the tutorials I watch are SFX ones, I love that stuff) that leaves me inspired for my next make up look (or Halloween costume), a prank video from Joe Sugg, or one of Dan Howell's videos that leave me laughing so hard it hurts, I always love them I would love to one day be making videos and making people feel happy the way YouTuber's make me happy.

I would also love to keep improving my make up skills so that I can do tutorials for the beauty side of my blog, as I really love make up and that is a huge chunk of my blog genre. I would also love to keep working on and improving the food side of my blog over time, as this is one of my big interests as well, I love cooking and baking, and one of my favourite tings to do when I go out is go have a meal with my best friend Robyn, it's what we spend like a good 50% of our days out doing. I would love to be able to feature travel posts on my blog in the future, as I would love to travel and see new places and cultures around the world.

I don't know what the future holds for me and hiyaitsashley, but I would like to think it is pretty bright and that over time I will be able to keep growing and creating.
